Starting From Scratch! (...or scraps...)
First time? Don't worry! There are a ton of books on the market related to this hobby! Here is one that covers just about anything that you would want to know! Want more choices? Just use the box below and search the Amazon.com bookstore. Okay, let's get started... Creating the idea behind your "one-of-a-kind" book is largely a personal choice. Normally, there is a theme innvolved. What's your theme? What is it, that you want your, scrapbook to represent? Perhaps it is for a special anniversary or a milestone birthday. Or maybe, it is for a longtime friend or a co-worker about to retire.
The subject doesn't really matter! It's how you present the subject...that matters! Before you start, pour yourself a cup of coffee and find a "comfy" chair to sit and reflect on your subject for a short while. Jot down some notes when you think of a good idea, or some of your favorite memories about your topic. These may come in handy later on... Formulate a rough "game-plan" of what you want your special memory book to end up looking like. Visualize the finished product in your head. Now, go to work and make it happen! Don't worry if it doesn't end up as you had imagined! (unless you are a professional at this; chances are, it won't!) But, nobody else will know that! And they will still enjoy what you have created...just for them!
