Scrapbook Supplies, You May Need !
Purchasing some basic scrapbook supplies will make your life a lot easier, when it comes to creating professional looking scrapbook pages.
Keep it simple or make it complex! You decide that!
Either way...a few basic scrapbooking tools and a few basic scrapbook supplies...can help you make your scrapbook a keeper!
Use corner mounts when mounting photos and important documents, NOT GLUE!
When looking to purchase your corner mounts, try and buy archival quality, acid-free mounts!
They will protect your picture/document much better over the long run!
Labeler machines allow you to add documentation to your scrapbook.
They can be purchased at most scrapbooking stores or right here, by clicking on the Amazon.com ad.
Easy to use, most simply plug into your computer via a USB cable.
Create your tag, transfer it to the labeler and print it. That's all there is to it!
Very cool! Moving on...

These eyelet tools are pretty cool! Need a hole in something...use one of these!
Beginners don't necessarily need one to start with, but they do come in handy!
They will produce a tight hole in pratically any material available.

Next, we have a sharp cutting tool combined with a straight edge.
These two tools will surely be useful in almost any scrapbooking project!
No doubt, you will have to cut and trim something along the way!
Save yourself the search by purchasing a high quality set of these tools ahead of time.

Regardless of what supplies you buy, you might want to keep them handy in one location!
How about this? A scrapbook supply case. Or a cheap plastic tool box will do just fine for the beginner!
True enough, as you buy more and more scrapbook supplies, it is best to keep them organized in one spot.

Scrapbooking may innvolve some fancy cuts on occasion.
You can buy a set of these "crazy-cut" scissors for $10.00-$20.00. (two sizes of paper punches, also shown)
Each pair of scissors has a different set of blades to give you several different looks to your borders and paper frames.

A nice addition to your scrapbook, would be a stamp kit.
This one includes alphabet stamps (very useful), holiday stamps, misc. words and even vacation spots.
Don't forget colored ink! And here's a quick tip; use a marker or highlighter to adjust/change the ink color of your stamps!

Speaking of markers...you will, no doubt, want to buy a nice set of colored markers and/or highlighters.
Fine tip? Yes! Wide felt tip? Yes! Medium? Of course! You will want a wide variety from which to choose.
Here's a valuable tip. (no pun intended!) But a high quality set! They will look better and last longer! Give your scrapbook a color blast with some high quality markers!

Scrapbooking paper? This one, is often overlooked by the anxious beginner.
Instead of placing those photos or newspaper clippings on plain, ordinary paper, try something a little different.
Scrapbook paper can be used in a variety of ways. It is fairly inexpensive and comes in assorted sizes and 1000's of patterns.
Oh, and don't forget about scrapbook stickers! Again, for a few dollars, these stickers can really change the look of your entire scrapbook!

Random Notes...
Obviously, there are many more scrapbooking tools (and a ton of "other fun stuff") available. Have you been to a craft store lately?
They have aisles full of pens, markers, stencils, stamps, tools, and just about any craft supply that you can imagine!
Our Advice?
Start out slow! Buy a few basic scrapbook tools to get you going! Then decide if you want to pursue this hobby farther, before you drop a ton of money into it!
Also, visit a scrapbook store! They have everything that you could possibly need there! (Note: prices may be slightly higher, but you're sure to find what you are looking for!)
Plus, it's a great place to get new, fresh scrapbooking ideas! Many stores include workshops where you can take a short class to learn even more about scrapbooking!
And, some stores will even allow you to work on your scrapbook, right in the store itself...using their scrapbook tools. Stop by your local scrapbook store and ask!
