Ephemera dealers? So you've attended three or four flea markets and walked away with a box or two of miscellaneous ephemera.
Great! Then, you focused your search by visiting several antique shops and malls, looking to add to your ephemera collection.

Take your ephemera search up one notch!
First of all, don't stop going to your local shops or public auctions! Keep building up positive relationships and checking back with them often. If they see you enough, they will start looking out for you!
Now, it's time to take your collection up to another level. You have a nice little collection, but that ain't nothing compared to the "big boys".
It's time to go and visit an ephemera trade show. You are about
to to be "razzled" and "dazzled". 
On display, you will find many highly collectable emphera goods that you may never, ever see again!
These shows usually offer "one of a kind" paper items that will you never find at a flea market!
It's a chance for the "big dogs" to show their stuff...and that is what they do!

Antique Trade Shows...What to Expect!
Trade shows normally include vendors and dealers from all related fields of interest.
Many times, the event organizer will have a guest speaker talk about their prize collection and display it at the event.
(i.e. A collection of Civil War letters from soldiers to their families, etc...) It provides the "WOW!" factor for the event.
Many events are held on weekends, so they will often will team up with a local hotel and provide discount accomadations for lodging.
Take advantage of these offers and the many others that are sure to be avaiable.
Go to one, go to many! We guarantee that you will find something different at each ephemera event! Have a good time collecting!
Why should I Even Bother Going...
Trade shows are a great place to learn more about your paper treasures. It doesn't matter if you are a new collector or a professional ephemera dealer. 
It's a wonderful opportunity to meet other
people who are just as interested in ephemera as you are.
(Yes, there are more of us out there!)
Listen and absorb! Take full advantage! Talk to the dealers and professionals who deal with paper goods for a living!
Here's a good example. This vintage collectible is entitled "THE EMERALD"..."An Illustrated Literary Journal".
It is dated April 4, 1868 and sells for 8 cents a copy. Wow!
Now, this copy is somewhat ragged and a little faded. Therefore, it was discounted to just a few dollars. But, it suits us just fine!
Where can you find 140 year old newspapers for sale? From Ephemera trade shows and dealers!
It is still very readable! And, it is still over 140 years old!
