Easter Greetings

with vintage postcards

Easter greetings in the past were commonly passed on through vintage postcards. Check out some of ours here on this page.

Vintage Easter Postcards One mad rooster

For those of you who celebrate Easter, we have some great vintage Easter postcards to share with you. And for those who don't, hey, it's still worth a quick look, don't you think?

All of our antique postcards came from our private collection of "family postcards".

These cards are mostly 100 years old and still in very good condition. "Click" on Postcard Condition for more information.

Need more? "Click" Postcard Guidelines and Postcard History for even more postcard information.

Why not share your vintage postcards with others? Oh, and don't forget to checkout our other pages on Holiday postcards, such as:

There were many styles from which, one could choose. We have several dozen in our small collection. And we would like to share some of them with you...

Vintage Easter Postcards Happy Bunnies

Vintage Easter Postcards Babys in a birdsnest

Vintage Easter Postcards Two happy children pulling a large egg

As we continue to look through our vintage postcards, we have noticed that some of the illustrations and artwork can be quite interesting.

For example, doesn't that rooster (above) look a little angry? Is that any way to say Easter Greeting?

Of course, cute baby bunny's...always works!

But, what are little children doing up in a birds nest? Really?

We kind of , get the "giant egg" thing, uh maybe...

Vintage Easter Postcards Boy giving away bunnies

Another "ticked-off" rooster, chasing a little girl...

Vintage Easter Postcards Children with baby chicks

Finally! A normal postcard! Baby chicks and children, can't go wrong here.

Vintage Easter Postcards Easter Tide

Okay, the Easter Tide card is a little different, a lot of images going on here...a little unusual, don't you think?

Random thoughts....

Vintage Easter Postcards A white turkey?

Easter greetings are still passsed on through cards today, (albeit, they are normally greeting cards vs postcards).

It is a long standing tradition that will probably remain long standing (albeit, probably via emails and internet greeting cards).

So, take a good look at these vintage Easter postcards. They started it all.

Our Advice?

None really. Just be selective when you are ready to purchase. Follow the basic rules: Pick a good clean card, without folds, bends or tears. Avoid stained and soiled cards. Look for crisp clean edges. And above all, pick one that you like.

There are far too many to choose from to settle for anything less!

Wait a minute...is that a all-white turkey? Whaaaaat?
