Coca Cola Advertising
Coca Cola advertising has always been a popular paper collectible. How does this "Cola Giant" do it? Most of us can't wait to see what they do next...
C'mon! Admit it! Who hasn't seen Santa Claus holding a Coke bottle in his hands around Christmas time? We all have!

Their Christmas Santa ads have been some of the most memorable ad campaigns of all time, of any brand name or company! That's saying something.
Coca Cola Advertising...
...continues to remain a popular paper collectible!
The question that we teased you with, is "How do they do it?" The answer is a lot of hard work, planning, and a tremendous "vision" of the future.

There are many reasons for Coke's success and it all started over 100 years ago.
(The ad on the right came from a June 1950 National Geographic Magazine)
In the early 1890's, Coca Cola printed their first calendar, and ever since then, it has "snowballed" into 1000's of print ads.
The original owners and early leaders of this now corporate giant, sure knew what they were doing.

They used the much-improved print techniques of the time to spread the word.
Early magazines, newspapers, and advertising cards were most often used.
Later on, came playing cards, sports programs, bookmarks, sheet music, and much, much, more! (The above photo came from a sports program book - Ohio State vs. Wisconsin football game 1974)
Yet, it is still a challenge to find that one truly unique paper item. It's "the thrill of the hunt" that continues to intrigue the many Coca Cola collectors out there.
Where Can You Find Coca Cola Advertising?
Ha! You're kidding right?

It isn't hard to find something with the words Coca Cola on it!
Thus, that's one of the many reasons that we, (paper ephemera collectors), love it so much.
The variety of vintage Coke ads and print materials is nearly endless.
Check out any flea market or antique mall and you are sure to find many vintage Coke ads.

Random Notes...
Once again, we are not experts on Coca Cola Collectibles. There are many other sources out there that can handle those questions.
But, nevertheless, we felt obligated to include this topic into our website. It goes without saying (again) that Coca Cola advertising has been one of the most popular advertising collectibles of all time...in nearly any part of the world!
Our Advice?
It is impossible to collect everything (Coca Cola)...there is just too much out there!
We have given this advice before. Focus in on something that interest you. i.e. Coca Cola playing cards, Coca Cola calendars, etc...
Believe us, there is still plenty to collect! Enjoy!
